  • 4-6 pork chops 1-inch thick, boneless or bone-in
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare a 9x9 inch baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  • Place the pork chops in the prepared baking dish.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the pork chops, mix together with your hands or use a basting brush to ensure even coverage.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the pork chops and spread evenly
  • Bake the pork chops in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use pork chops that are at least 1-inch thick to prevent them from drying out.
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the pork chops reach the safe internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Don't skip the resting time, as it allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
This seasoning mix can also be used on chicken or steak.
For a complete meal, consider adding vegetables to the baking dish for a sheet pan dinner.
