What's up, CWS family! I'm Ray, and I'm delighted that you've stopped here to check out the blog. To share a little about myself and my background, I'm from the Pelican State where I was surrounded by many unique dishes inspired by various cultures such as French, African, and Creole, among others. I grew up in the kitchen, standing over my mother and grandmother's shoulders, helping them carry out tasks for whatever amazing dish they were whipping up at the time. Side note: my grandmother had that little bit of fat hanging from the back of her arms, so you know it was going down! From there, I've developed a unique passion for cooking and ventured out to experience and create many dishes of my own from several cultures and traditions from around the world. I love cooking and I'm here to share some of those amazing experiences I've had throughout my journey with you.
